That's an iSheep attitude of approving whatever they do even when it is wrong.
You know what would be an evolution?
Getting rid of this awful thing that is Bluetooth, a literal open door in terms of security, it has lags, not enough bandwidth for video (funnily, the Jack can accept webcams), and with battery improvement, many things can now have the infinitely better Wi-Fi.

It can be 1500Hz, 101% color accuracy, Micro-Led, Extreme HDR, blinding max brightness, and all that, I would prefer a good old 60Hz flat LCD with no hole/notch.

I'm really legitimately curious what gimmicks or bloat you're talking about. are you referring to Game Genie, YouTube live streaming, Auto Start Manager, Air Triggers, what is it??? The only bloat I can think of is Memory Cleaner which frees your RAM which is unnecessary but that doesn't get in the way anyway so it does not bother me.

A lot of "features" bloatware that doesn't do anything different from the cleaner os builds. He even asked if the oneplus could perform as the rog, and yes it can. It has a gaming mode, just much simpler and does exactly what rog does. Just without all the useless gimmicks.
I know it's hard to understand, especially when you don't have other phones to test. But download bloatware disabler, and game on your rog. Then you will see how much bloatware gets turned off, and how perfectly the phone works without it.

I was asking what bloatware were you referring to? the only other phones I have used were Galaxy Notes, LG G6, and iPhones but not on the same generation as the ROG Phone 2 that I am daily driving right now so I think that's not a fare comparison on my end
but what I am asking you, which you stated multiple times, what bloatware are you seeing? again, the ZenUI is nearly stock Android and I personally never had issue w/any "bloatware" from my ROG Phone

I use the ROG Phone 2 for nearly a year now, it's even the Tencent Edition running the Chinese ROM (I'm not from China). but not once it actually bothered me about its software. like what the other guy said, be specific w/your claims here. otherwise, you're the one that's not prepared and is just throwing shade but bares no evidence. even reviewers like Michael Fischer and MKBHD praise the ROG Phone software for being near stock Android

Nor do those phones have proper screen recording tools.
And no phone has the performance profiles of rog phone series.
Not to mention airtriggers and all that other stuff.

Still you haven't told what bloatware you were talking about. If it's the skin, you can switch to Zen UI and get stock like feel. Or the Armoury Crate, well it's there to test in game performance and map button and chngae RBG lighting and much more. Apart from this, what exactly is the bloat you're talking about?
