Headphone jack with probably high end ESS dac like rog
Zen ui which is bloat free smooth and clean and gets faster updates better than many phones out there
Plus Asus ui features are actually great stuff with that other ui's lack

    And 888 has inbuilt 5g modem which means more space for Asus to add headphone jack last year's 865 had external modem hence no space for jack and Asus phones didn't have it
    Imx 686 + 663 (new sensor) on Zenfone mini could be pretty good actually good wide angle lens and no shitty namesake 3rd camera
    Imx 686 is an good lens

            Im disappointed if the starting price is above 650$ (S21 price)....the dimension of the s21 and this zenfone mini is very close so why would i need to pay more for zenfone at 650$+? And i rather go for sd870 instead of throttling sd888 made by Samsung factory... Sd870 + 8/256GB at 500$ is perfect actually...

Observation and real use, both are different. A small phone fits well in pocket, has easier one handed use, is light on hands. Surely people who want a smaller phone won't consume media on it as often, which would explain the SOT case. But it's more of a result than cause.

                Flip is cool and I'm one of those guys who'd choose the flip model but can say that there are many who don't want a mechanical camera however durable it may be and probably no ip rating on flip one so another models with punch hole is a good idea by Asus

                          With the estimated specs. It's for sure going to flop... People who want small phones have low Screen On Time. Therefore price and external dimensions are 99% of the purchasing decision. Putting an expensive SoC or adding high refresh rates make the phone more expensive without meaningful advantages for users with low Screen On Time.

                            Asus killed what made Zenphone special, what would make anyone go for this phone instead of an S21...?

                            And we waited eagerly for a mini flagship with a flip-up camera just to get a punch-hole...

Lack of availability in the US is why I never got the Zenfone 6 despite being interested. That flip camera solution is the BEST solution for non-obtrusive display coupled with the best selfie cams in the market.
