      Huawei has to reach a new deal with the Biden administration and launch EMUI 12 based on Android 11 with GMS and leaving the experiments with soda, which is what Harmony OS really is.

      Only following this way they will you be able to recover their sales.

      The rest has no future.

          EMUI rocks nowadays.
          EMUI 11, ya and 10 was/is awesome build on Android 10.
          I have one UI 3,1 android 11 on my S21 ultra and Mate 20X and I take EMUI anytime vs Sammy OS, lesser scam etc.

          So last 3-4 years Huawei software has grown up for sure and now Harmony comes 👍🏻

              By the last quarter of 2020 Huawei will have existed from mobile manufacturing. Kudos to the USA for keeping China's data spy agency away from the world before it became to late.

                  Huawei will make theirown ecosystem sooner or later anyway, Trade War just accelerate the process significantly and wreck Huawei timetable for a while.


                  I won't surpise if next year Huawei make comeback with HMS

                        For all of you complaining about how messy or "iOS" inspired the UI is, did you ever consider perhaps they are basing it on what the primary customer base (as in CHINA) prefers?
                        I mean this UI is ugly as sin, and cluttered as heck, but people in China actually prefer this look. I've seen the phone "desktops" in some of my Chinese friends' phones and it was just as cluttered and messy as the video (they had an iPhone and a Xiaomi phone).

                          Just wait till xiaomi, oppo, vivo, tecno, infinix etc starts using them on thier selected devices, especially on devices for the Chinese Market..... Android is in trouble

                                That cornucopia of apps is giving me flashbacks. Perhaps, they are testing all in-house Huawei apps in a single go during that preview. I presume, the bootloaders will be still locked to prevent custom ROMs for technogeeks

                                    The apps are opened a lot quicker than we have seen on any Android-powered device?
                                    Harmony OS still base on Android Open Source Project, so this device still an Android-powered device. In my opinion, its Harmony UI not OS.

                                        Seems a bit too cluttered tbh, why da fk do they stack all apps on the screen like it's a shitty Iphone.
