One thing I HATE about Realmes is the fact that the screen seems like it's plastered over the phone, it sticks out if u look it from the sides/top/bottom and side-swipes feel awkward without a case. I just don't get it why they are still doing it. Even GSMA team pointed this out in their review of the X2 Pro, and I've seen it first hand on my bro's XT & my mother's 7 Pro.

gaming phones look terrible, but if there's a global version of k40 gaming I wouldn't mind buying if it's cheaper than the f3

Even a friend of mine also see the ads coming back again from his Poco X3 Pro despite my effort disabling it using ADB command.

NyxSin, 09 May 2021I like it a lot but better wait for the global version or t... moreIt's not really the Rom as even before miui 12.5 GMS installation was blocked on some models that didn't come pre-installed with GMS. Basically, the phones that don't have GMS pre-installed can no longer officially sideload Google apps as this was being done illegally before. All snapdragon 8 series phones are unaffected by the ROM version as they are pre-installed with GMS. Xiaomi didn't certify their cheaper models with Google as it costs money to do this and the majority of their consumers in China won't use Google anyway. I've heard that they subsequently certified some models though (like the k30 commemorative edition) so GMS can be used again but I'm not sure if that's true

It doesn't have a headphone jack and I have never been a fan of MIUI in the first place. So, no. Realme GT Neo for me.

gaming phones for over $800? nooo. i am better to choose $300 phones its enough to run fortnite, pubg at high setting but $800? PC is better.

Before that a Xiaomi mi 10T lite 5G, before that a redmi note 8 pro and before that a Poco F1. Never had any security concerns whatsoever. You probably never used one of their phones by the sounds of it. Also just so you know, it's a privately owned company and the CCP or Chinese government have absolutely no shares or concerns within the company. Hence why they have never been placed on the US entity list as Huawei were part formed with government involvement. What's your problem? Are you going to boycott everything Chinese? Virtually ninety percent of all technology is manufactured there, including iPhones and iPads. Or are you simply a bit racist?

Mobile games are so bad compared to other platforms. It just doesn't make sense to buy a gaming phone when the games are trash micro transcation filled.

Seriously like you cant live with the phones that have malware but you also cant flash a new OS on it. Only thing you can do is troll about the malware in comments. If you dont like low price phones with awesome specs then dont complain about them or find issues about them, that are no issues at all for most part of the worlds people. And for who these are issues can just flash new OS on it and they actually are doing it also. Your not going to buy any of there brand phones so why complain about them ? Go buy your sammy or sony and pay 3 times for the specs and be happy with your placebo effect of quality

I can't believe it's been 20 years and we still have issues emulating Dreamcast / PS2 / GameCube games smoothly. But 3rd to 5th gen games are mostly fine except N64 and Saturn can still be difficult.
I have a Vita, so I just buy those compilation packs and it acts like my PlayStation legacy machine with games from the PS1/PS2/PSP eras. I love that the Switch has that Super Mario 3D legacy pack although I couldn't really stand Mario Sunshine. And 3DS got an updated Ocarina of Time. Too bad I don't love Nintendo games as much as the franchises on PlayStation. Too kiddie.

I think more people are better off with a dedicated handheld. Saw a video yesterday of the One XPlayer and it looks interesting. Too bad my wallet won't like it.

So many Chinese handhelds are out there like the Retroid Pocket 2. So many are flawed because dealing with emulators can be a hit or miss affair.
I may need to wait a few more years just so I can have playable original Xbox games. Saw a Dreamcast Portable and it's a brick. I only need 6th generation graphics and gameplay. That's Dreamcast/PS2/GameCube/Xbox. Best gen ever.

"Gaming" phones are well made stronger phones than the normal ones. But are only made to play and for multimedia. Nothing else.
