I currently use mi pad 4 plus. I mainly use it for browsing and media player. If this new one significantly better than 4 plus (especially hardware wise) I plan to get one. Especially bigger screen and actual stereo speaker. Without anything missing from the 4 plus (kinda worried about microSD slot).
I already got very used to MIUI (really like it), I especially like the customization and file browser and it's ability to rename (include the format), compress, and extract files that I'd rather unable to be seen on video player or other gallery app by other people *wink*wink.
I used to have an iPad (long time ago). Really liked it. But I don't like the screen ratio and how limited on what can I do with it. And don't want to risk getting the newer one (especially for the price). And samsung... I don't want to buy a tablet that cost more than a decent gaming-capable laptop (at least not for what I use it for right now).

Don't forget a 7 or 8 inch tablet with nfc for payments and transportation. Not everyone likes to carry a 10 inch around.

Early bird prices and pre order deals; for the past instances were quite true, unlike ~5 years ago.

I like it to come very soon .I need it l don't like mi 11 camera design but I love redmi note 10 Pro 's design amazingly . I seem te it is more beautiful ....,

1. ios doesnt have full file manager, and when i say file manager i dont mean to move files between mac and ipad, i mean ability to download something, move it freely between folders, direct apps to get that file, edit those files etc. in ios app only can access limited number of folders.
2. ios have few emulators selection compare to android its a fact no need to say more.
3. which desktop mode you have in ipad? can you link it anywhere so i can see it? you just have app drawer in ipad, thats it.

Yes obviously even a 200 dollar tab can do what a 1000 dollar Ipad pro does. What I am saying that Ipad does all of those things BETTER!
Yes I can use desktop mode in Ipad. That's why I said multiple times about ecosystem. I can do all of those task you said like moving files freely or copying something on my ipad and pasting it in my mac or opening a site of safari in tab and continuing in my iphone etc. To get maximum out of any Apple device you need an ecosystem.

When it came to you ipad is obvious your choice but dont generalise, majority of tablets are Android not ios and most professionals will prefer windows tablets things like surface with real programs.
I can do these with Tab s7, can you do them with iPad?
1. I can emulate Nintendo 3ds, Wii, ds, game boy pocket, color, advance, playstation portable, ps2, GameCube etc
2. Use desktop mode with tablet open lot of apps side to side, move apps freely and true multitasking.
3. With dex I can connect with big monitor or TV and use keyboard, mouse and use apps in desktop mode
4. Full fledge file manager to organize different files etc.
There are hundreds of things you can do with Android tablet you can't with iPad, if iPad is laptop replacement then Android tabs are super computer replacement.

From all of the tablets we have in market Ipad pro can handle stuffs like 4k editing or photoshop the most easily and render them the fastest. I am not saying other tabs can't do it. I am saying Ipad does it best. When it comes to tablets Ipad is the obvious choice. Whether it is the budget Ipad 8th generation or Air or Pro. All the Ipads are best in it's price segment. Ipad pro is better than Samsung flagship s7, Budget Ipad 8th generation is better than budget Samsung tab A7, Midrange Ipad Air is better than Samsung tab S6 lite. And saying it after using both of the devices. I am a college student and I sell all types of tabs and the most famous and preferable one is Ipad when it comes to tablets. Plus the whole Apple ecosystem is a big poggers.

Almost anything ipad can do phone do it. It has advantage of big screen only.

If you buy things like magic keyboard and apple pencil then Ipad is the best tab for you specially if you are in college. Life is much easier. Plus the Apple ecosystem is enough to persuade anyone to buy ipads.
