chelito, 11 May 2021Facebook IS the government, in case you havent realizedFacebook, like most corporations, hands over all your data to the government when they ask - they have to, otherwise it would be illegal. So yeah, in that sense, facebook is the government but no one should do their illegal stuff through facebook or they're just stupid.

Rajat Prasad, 10 May 2021"with its lack of reading comprehension and patience t... moreYeah, I thought that piece of writing was really bad too on the part of GSMArena.
It's about the fact, that Facebook aka Zuckerberg, just basically overrides all that was promised when Whatsapp was taken over.
Then, FB just alters their general terms as they seem fit and blackmail us into agreeing to them or just cutting us off (if not).
FB knows exactly how important Whatsapp has become and they are powerplaying us globally. Profiling us even more than now - of course just because "they want to target us with even better product placement *giant BS*. FB is selling our data for even more profit.
Of course you can argue - well if you don't like it, don't get a PC, don't get a cell phone, stay out of the internet - but that is too simple in this day and age, where everything is going digital and you are bascially lost in space if you don't use the net. So comments like that are just plain stupid.
Big business has to / needs to be stopped at a certain point, when it comes to privacy, otherwise they are not better than spy agencies.

This is... retarded. WA can function with current privacy policy just fine. Yet it won't be in a while.
This is nothing else than facebook mafia power grab. I do hope that FB will get sued over this and eventually split!

"with its lack of reading comprehension and patience to read anything longer than a tweet, to collectively lose its mind" -- Like you used to read entire software license agreement in pre Twitter era before accepting.

I use both Telegram & Signal but both have video upload flaws.
Telegram's HD video upload option is still pixelated and video calls tend to usually have rainbow effects, washed out / inaccurate colors with pixelated video calls whereas Signal is ok 99% of the time.
Turning the wheel to Signal however, it has a video upload problem if the video is over 30mb in size / 3 minutes in length and also freezes up before the send button appears. I have yet to hear from their support after sending an email as well.

I know people are sensitive about privacy but when they collect anonymous information I couldn't care less. All they do it for is money. On the other side, I have BIG issues with governments invading privacy, that is the real threat to freedom.
