signal is far better.. Its time for Android to update there messaging app.. which can send messages over internet if the other person is connected with internet..

After initially deleting my Facebook and Instagram accounts, recently I deleted WhatsApp too.
I just used Signal now. Of course, many of my contacts do not use Signal, but I just send them messages that I will delete my WhatsApp and if they want to talk to me I will be on Signal. Just two of them + my father moved to Signal, lol. But, I am happy.

If they can differentiate between personal and business chats for privacy and if they can disable features selectively, and if the new policy only affects business chats, why can't they disable only the business chats feature for those who didn't accept the policy?
