My USB wifi adapter couldn't stay connected on any USB port when downloading stuff unless chrome was open. Installed drivers to help, but I think it was just because it was old.

You are right in fact if you look at the top 10 list of best selling phones globally,none of the Androids in that list have high refresh rates and that’s because majority of android users buy low end and some mid end phones,the only manufacturer with high end premium phones in the top 10 sales is Apple lol.Android users mostly buy android devices as they cannot afford better which is why Mediatek sees such great sales as they make mostly low end stuff.

There is this tiny % of people who want high refresh for gaming, but I couldn't care any less about refresh rate in menus of a phone. And I'm someone who can't use anything less than 144Hz on my gaming desktop system. I care how smooth and sharp image is during aiming in FPS games, I do not care if webpage scrolls smoothly, you aren't reading its content while it's scrolling. So why it even matters lol. But it seems refresh rate is the only thing they can cling on and will rave about it to no ends just to praise their childish worshiping of... phones.
