PlayStation 5 consoles will be hard to find in stores even in 2022, Sony warns

Previously, Sony believed that the supply shortage will end in the second half of this year, but later it told analysts that shortages will last through 2022.

Have you been living under a rock since all this time? intel on the other hand with outdated CPUs which they have to force to run at overclock and basically unsustainable temperatures to try to keep up with AMD in single core performance. They even lost the gaming crown last year. Begone troll!

        Semiconductors is the most affected segment of the industry.

        Also, demand of PS5 is much higher than PS4 was when announced.
        Even without pandemic, sony would not be able to deliver all units enough at time.

          article correction, Nintendo Switch Tegra X1+ chips are now manufactured using TSMC 12nm. while it's still a node based on TSMC previous 16nm, I still wouldn't call it the same.

          the original Nintendo Switch are now discontinued since August 2019.

You need Alienware laptops or PCs. They cost between 1300 and 2000 really and probably higher in some cases. A playstation is between 500 and 600. It's a big difference. I've tried playing the most demanding games on PC and laptops and also through emulators with no cooling systems even using systems with an i7 and dedicated graphics and it's not much fun. They just can't really cope.

Viruses happen and it's not even known with certainty who caused it and how it was caused or where it originated. We'll never know because the powers that be don't want to let us know. Can you perhaps see the flaw in the logic there? I work for a company that sells it. It comes in stock once every few months, a few thousand units and is sold out in five minutes. I then have to spend the rest of the day listening to people whine about how unfair it is that they missed the flash sale. They weren't notified, the order system failed etc. But nobody wants it. Oh my good, better sometimes to keep an idiotic opinion to yourself and let people think you an idiot than to express your opinion and confirm that you are an idiot.
