aditya136, 17 May 2021RIP pixel binning, this should be the end of pixel binning ... moreThe Micro 4/3 from Panasonic and Olympus have IBIS.
APSC from Sony and Fuji have IBIS.
Almost all Full Frame mirrorless have IBIS.
I suspect Apple is gonna use on the three rear camera or 2 of them.
This is why the ugly square looks larger than 2020 pro models.

RIP pixel binning, this should be the end of pixel binning tech, most of budget aps-c camera's don't have ois/sensor shift buit in but they take descent pics, Sharp & Sony are not in the race with Chinese, they doesn't care about anyone except themselves.

- Japan only
- Only one camera lens
They won't step up their game that way, even if Leica is involved. Leica is wasting their time with Sharp imo, even though they have potential. Sadly they aren't using it so far.

kek, 17 May 2021lol, no OIS = DOA. Better wait for R7, maybe that one wi... moreOk, you OIS expert! Such a shame their engineers don't spend more time on the GSMA comments section, they could learn something. Let me just ask you, does your ultrawide camera on your cellphone have OIS? And I will answer it instead of you, no it doesn't. It too must be DOA.

See how much space it takes? There is no space for multi cam setup.
Now you all can stop waiting P50 Pro+ to have 1" , because it does not.

r31ya, 17 May 2021I remember Mi11 ultra have problem with depth of field due ... moreThe Aquos R6 should actually have a larger depth of field (more sharpness) because the field of view is larger and because the effective diameter of the lens is smaller, too. The Xiaomi 11 Ultra main camera has an effective aperture diameter of 3.89mm, the Vivo X60 Pro+ has 4.17mm and the Aquos R6 has approximately 3.65mm

As someone who has used numerous Sharp phones (Many midrangers + flagship XX3, R, R2 & R3. I must say Sharp never disappoints. Their phones always satisfied me. Camera was always average though. Maybe they decided to make a leap to the top with this one.
Looking forward to use R5G & R6 in the near future. Sharp phones are extremely underrated!

Note that due to the 19mm field of view, the camera won't capture more light per time from objects than the Galaxy S21 Ultra main camera. It will also capture less light per time from objects than the Vivo X60 Pro+ or Xiaomi 11 Ultra and will only capture approximately 32% more light per time from objects than the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Also, the lack of OIS will lead to a shorter exposure time in extreme low-light conditions, so it will capture less light per frame than a 12 Pro Max in such light conditions. Furthermore, ultra wide angle cameras capture less light at the edges than in the center of the frame. One reason is that the circular opening of an aperture rather looks like an elliptical (smaller) opening when viewed from the perspective of an object that is at the edge of the frame. Another reason is perspective distortion, which distributes the light of an object over a larger area, this leads to less light per unit area at the edges (in comparison with the center).

Mobilemaster, 17 May 2021Last years flagship did take good Ultra wide shots at 12 MP... moreIt has no problem taking UWA photos giving its focal length at 19mm. In fact maybe the best at the moment in terms of quality.
What were discussing about are human portraiture.

[deleted post]My 2016 Galaxy S7 Edge had 4 GB so I doubt 2018 was the 4 GB trend, there were phones with 6 GB already in 2016 and 8 GB in 2018.
Unless we're talking about iPhones, the XS Max had 4 GB yeah...
