I use my phone for pretty much everything from console emulation gaming to photography and videography to even laptop replacement. So having a flagship-grade performance on a day-to-day basis is super helpful. For 99% of mainstream average consumers who only care about social media, I would direct them to a midrange, not a flagship.

Everything you say is not the truth, stop denying it and live with it.

YUKI93, 20 May 2021Me too. It really is hard to talk to idiots like him and Ja... moreDon't waste your energy dude. You'll lose your brain cells.
They lack the intellectual capacity to grasp the concept that every company has a flagship and it has nothing to do with specs. They can't understand that if a company has only one phone, that is their flagship. They are confusing high end to flagships.
So, save your energy and enjoy your life.

YUKI93, 20 May 2021"Important, popular. Same meaning." Oh really?... moreUsing dictionary now? Ok, is a flagship more important to own, than a midranger? Or are both just as important, when you have to call 911/112?

Is it even more important to own a smartphone, over a Nokia 3310? Since both can make the most important call. Hmm.

Again, stop trying to change the truth. xD live with your midranger. Enjoy

Oh really? This is from dictionary.com

Try again next time. Time for you to hit back those English Grammar books.

AnonD-940827, 19 May 2021You said most popular. Read your own words again. "Flagship just means the most important, top of the line product in a company's portfolio. It has nothing to do with what you perceive.
For Samsung, S and Notes are their flagships
For Sony, 1 series is their flagships
For apple, pro maxes are their flagships
Since Google, oneplus, Asus etc have very few models, their top stuff are their flagship
For xiaomi's poco, x3 pro which is a very affordable product is their flagship.
You are confusing premium and flagship."

Where in Rkm reply he mentions the word 'popular'? I don't see one.

Flagship means most powerful. Nothing less. And that's why pixels has always been a midrange. Because they weren't as powerful as the others. But, still the same price though, for a unit full of beta flaws. Sony has become a runner. Samsung and huawei has been there for many years. The "gaming" phones are more flagships than the midrange pixel. The next pixel will even be using last year's technology. Why? Because it is a midranger.
