If you want professional manual controls, get a professional camera. You can't have that on a phone.

And again, you talk about a phone that's not even out yeeeeet! Ffs.
You cannot claim that it's bad on something, when you both haven't touched it!

            F2.4 of s9+ is not gonna blur almost whole frame if person does closeup photos.
            Also, texture is impacted by excess of light.
            Electronic shutter has limits.

Modern phone sensors are awesome. They have no issues because they can go as low as ISO 20. This 1in sensor has native ISO of 125-12800 because that's the sensor Sony sells.
                  Those changeable aperture would be lovely to have in modern big sensor camera phones. It would also help to get better sharpness in stills.
                  Also you can't go below available ISO gains by using SOFTWARE.

                    There is absolutely no phone right now (phones with a huge opening of 1,5 aperture), that have problems with aperture control even under the sun! See IPhone 12 and xiaomi for reference. They have absolutely no issues under sun.

                    Samsung aperture control is useless on a phone, because there is absolutely no difference between shots during the day by using both 1,5 and 2,4 apertures.
                    Simply because software takes action.

                        For Samsung, S and Notes are their flagships
                        For Sony, 1 series is their flagships
                        For apple, pro maxes are their flagships
                        Since Google, oneplus, Asus etc have very few models, their top stuff are their flagship
                        For xiaomi's poco, x3 pro which is a very affordable product is their flagship.
                        You are confusing premium and flagship.

Sure that it doesn't have 2021 software, but I'm using a third-party camera app called ProShot and it is definitely worth it.
