18 May 2021
The specs sheet will be a lot like the SM7350, also known as Snapdragon 780G.

rizki1, 18 May 2021mediatek is better now like G and dimensity series. Mediatek presents it's benchmark in a flawed manner. It's performance degrades and battery sucks

I'm waiting for snapdragon 790g coming for mid-range device.

Baddroid, 18 May 2021Source? Because samsung also has 6nm node.It was a guess, it could also be Samsung’s 6nm process, but if that’s the case then the 778G will just be an inferior 780G

"In that context, Samsung’s 5LPE process node improving power by 20% would mean they’d only be catching up with TSMC’s 7nm nodes."

"So at least at first glance, our theory that Samsung’s 5LPE merely just catches up with the power consumption and power efficiency of TSMC’s N7/N7P nodes seems to be valid – at least at these frequencies."

I doubt it'll work as qualcomm doesn't understand that they keep charging an arm and a leg for weaker midrange chipsets

                    732, 720g, 765 , 768,750 g are all inferior chipsets

Qualocmm has only one competitive 780G and I bet they still gonna charge a penny and none of them have an av1 codec

Anonymous, 18 May 2021Because Mediatek is cheaper, certainly not better than Qualcomm The same priced MediaTek chip would generally outperform the Qualcomm chip. That's why people are buying MediaTek.

Nothing wrong with mediatek. Don't mind the people on here saying that mediatek sucks. They haven't a clue what they're on about. You pay a premium for Snapdragon chipsets usually and they're not much better. In fact sometimes they're worse.
