I was excited about the Pixel 6, having an in-house Google designed chipset (which will hopefully mean they can provide security updates for longer).
But now I'm really not interested, if it's going to come with this horrible cartoonish UI redesign.

I completely don't want Android applying random colors across my UI. That seems super annoying and ugly. I hope there's just a plain dark theme option.
The rest of the UI changes just seem to borrow a lot from the iOS design language.
It all looks annoying. I hate UI design changes. I see no added funtionality there. Just some new system to learn. I'm fine with how Android is. I wish they would leave it alone. This is just change for the sake of change.

This is a refreshing redesign I must say, a great depart from the old Material. Appart from this, the security still remains behind iOS I'm afraid. Otherwise a worthy update.

Nah im happy with One UI and others are happy with MiUi and others. Stock Android is losing its appeal as time goes on. Andorid OEMS are adding better features compared to Google been like this for several years now

For people who dont like corporate mumbojumbo talk:
-They rounded sharp corners
-They put something that other launchers do for long time and match colors to wallpaper
-They simplify stuff making it useless for anyone who actually use phone.
-They added bunch of "features" that will be removed because no one use it.

It's just different skin to make it look new. Is that really improvement?

Mehhh.. Android 10 and 11 is good. I'm using a stock Android device. Don't want this unprofessional looking UI.
