Android 12 reaches beta phase, introducing a huge redesign

Reducing the notification icons is one step backwards . Atleast they should allow the user to decide ... integration of Google pay again reeks of official bloatware from Google ...hugly disappointed. We better stick to android 11

    Looks like Google started to follow Samsung's One UI and Xiaomi's Mi UI

      android is already perfect , then why on earth they ruining it 😬😬
      anyway, i never gonna buy a stock android phone in my life.hope the oems won't follow this cr@ppy design.

        After segregation of os updates from firmware, no reason to buy a new phone.
        I still have 5.x and can perform 99 percent of all i need. Works for me not sure abt the bling people.

          Too much monochrome is boring. Material design was fine, it was light weight and fast. Let the OEMs do the design with their skins.

                I think it will be very very difficult for Google to improve Android beyond few minor things that not deal-breaker since it has evolved into the most versatile mobile operating system.

                        I don't care about "the looking" because I use a brand with a skin on top, which is far better than "pure" Android.
                        Google apparently is copying futures from anyone around (more from Android OEMs), but forgets to address the spying issues in which the company is involved.

                          Blessed change. I do hope that control panel can be toggled to the old style because it can feel a little cringy.

                                      What is the company, that promotes people based on making new projects instead of maintaining old working ones, watering down again?

                                        Seems like all they did was add a bunch of pointless bloatware. Hopefully a lot of these new "features" can be disabled.
