might consider to import it (that is if it is unlocked) but the notch says "no, tch!"

Wish more manufacturers could adopt this more compact form factor. 6 inch or less is pocket friendly. Sony should have used Helio G70/G80 chipset instead but congratulations for not following the sheep with huge 6.5 inch screens.

Notch, dual rear camera, bottom speaker.
5iii is not listed at docomo because phone is gonna be sold just in late august.
The assembling of 5iii did not start yet.
People should move on. There is not gonna be any successor for XZ2C.
Nobody but Apple is gonna make phone smaller than 14cm.

From sites like wish or alliexpress anyone can buy waterproof case and a 5D screen protectorboth would cost maybe 5 and will do the same. Give screen protection and a water resistance. Paying 200 for this is like watching 8K movie on a 5 inch screen phone. Its completely stupid idea what Sony did.
But i do understand than 90% people are lazy to pay 5 bucks for a waterproof case and a quality screen protector they rather pay 100 more for GG6 and IP68.

I love the specs on this phone, 4GB, 64GB , microsd support and best of all a 5.5 screen, damn! Wait, did I say best of all? Wait it is a "Sony" and it costs $202, good GOD, that's delicious, now all they need is a less generic design, "Nokia 5.4" anyone, wink wink

I've always been a big fan of smaller phones that can easily fit in your pocket and you can operate them with one hand. Looks great as a second phone for trips, but it's overpriced and the camera specs are kind of old. To me, it should be priced around $130-150 max.

I just want to remind everyone that this "Ace 2" is different from the renders we saw from that one Compact rumored device.
The side buttons are different, and so is the screen design & body design.
Also as a quick note, Xperia 5III was not released in Japan, so that means Sony will throw something new on August. This aligns with the previous rumor of the return of the Ultra line and that more devices were in the pipeline.
If anything, this Ace 2 is the new L series.

would be interested in this had it sported a decent cam (24mp+) and 1080 screen. doesn't say whether it will have a 3.5mm, that would be required also.
