Flat edges make a lot of sense .... for aPple .... as this will render the device more vulnerable, and thus more likely to break. Totally in line with their usual planned obsolescence approach...

I like the square flat edges on that render. Maybe I'll get one for myself if that true. The only reason why I didn't buy or own any of Apple watch is because of the design. Too round for my liking 😬

Get rid of the notch and the rounded corners and it will be perfect. 🙏

I wonder how comfortable it'll be with sharp edges... My Apple Watch 5 bottom edges certainly dig into my hand, but since they are round, it's not an issue. If they were sharp, I'm not so sure.
