But, sadly no stock and I had to settle down with iPhone 11. My preferred size is like iPhone 11 Pro compared to iPhone 12 Mini. Yet, both devices are nice too 😊

Most folks do not buy their phones outright, they pay for them on installment which makes it even more affordable. For a device which most keeps for about 3 years and uses it as much as one does, it is more than worth it.

Apple ramped up and down their orders all the times, does that mean its a failure every time they do so? Again the mini is selling better than a ton of phones, its even selling better than Samsung phones, but Apple of course is judge by different standards.

I had a choice between the 11, 11 Pro, 12, or 12 mini I actually preferred the 11 Pro initially as I like the matte finish back. But looking back, I have ZERO regret choosing the 12 mini. I wanted a true successor to the SE 1 and this was it.
This was an iPhone I dreamt about since the X. I wanted the SE 1 compactness mixed with the X's design. This was it. This is the iPhone SE X I've always wanted. 🤣

Platforms are not a religion to me but some folks on here who seem insecure with their purchases or preference treats it like one. Use whatever works best for you. I prefer Android. Better to type on. Torrents. Blacklist apps. Emulation. YouTube PiP that iPhones don't have yet but iPads do. Bluetooth data transfer. But you really don't see me bashing iPhone users any more since I started as one.
The 12 mini is fun to use. Very slick animations and quite lightweight. Don't listen to these haters telling you what to do buy. You do you. My mom has the 12 and I compared them. I much prefer the 12 mini size. Far shorter and lighter. Battery life is fine if everything is in mostly dark mode. The 12 mini might be $200+ overpriced but criminally underrated like a Sony PS Vita.

As mentioned before, Apple was expecting it to sell as much as the other three.
But is does not sell as much as they want.
People here should stop using its price as excuse.
Iphone 8 was announced for $700. I think it was 800 euros in Europe or bit more.
With single cam, smaller battery, , HD LCD, no HDR screen, no 5G, lower IP rating (67).
Why should Mini cost something like $500?
SE 2020 was $400 because project was ready years ago. All Apple had to do was to change the cpu. It is the iphone 8 with different CPU.
Zero R&D required money.

no sheet sherlock, they have no competition in the ios department, unlike on the android side you've at least 10 companies competing aggressively.
let them license ios to other companies and i bet you any money that apple most likely won't be in the top 5, but they won't do it in the name of their fake security and privacy that people have overpayed for.

Motorola phones were much better than they had E, G and X.
Samsung with J5/J7, A3/A5/A7, C5/C7 for China and S/Note.
Pretty common in China: This is smartphone A. Then they change cpu and main camera, call it B. Move the cam hole from center to corner, add 30Hz to screen, call it C.
This should not be done.
Too many devices start to overlap each other.

iPhone 12 Mini brought equal revenue to S21 5G and more than S21+,LOL!!The poorest selling iPhone 12 is outperforming Samsung’s best. iPhone 12 Pro Max taking the biggest chunk of revenue of all mobiles shows Apple own the premium segment by a huge margin not a single high end android even comes close in terms of sales or revenue.Hahahaha!

Would be nice if they do the statistics on how much units per brand sold and not based on best selling model. It's not hard for Apple to win if it has only 3-4 model per year and competing other players who have like 10-20 models a year.
