Fun fact: The phone in the picture is a Huawei

They simply can't be trusted into your system.

How many manufacturers will really only save them in pictures instead of DCIM though. There are so many manufacturers deliberately breaking functionality pre-built into Android.

I wouldn't trust the images clicked on my cellphone with Google Photos.

They should keep the unlimited Google Photos storage on the Pixels, one more reason to get them

It was never a big deal. Takes seconds to delete them. And my account is still unlimited for high quality using Pixels.

I'm glad I don't use that bloatware! But sadly, it's the standard gallery on Sony. Good thing I don't have Sony at the moment.

Google being the data trafficking kingpin it is, most likely OCRs the screen captures from the uploads to its servers in order to utilise the data extracted from users' device to its nefarious benefit.

The solution has been to ensure Android phones are never logged in with a Google account. There are numerous and better alternatives for syncing files from device to the cloud, and app APKs can be downloaded directly from Google's servers via HTTP though a browser without being logged in, and without using the Google Play app.

Google defiles its services and products in its attempt to monetise everything through ad-shunting and data harvesting.
