Anonymous, 26 May 2021Galaxy S21 is Head and shoulders above any iPhone I agree. People talk about iOS software being the USP of the iPhone. That is certainly not the case. I can guarantee you, these people are blind Phanboys or haven't used Android since Android Lollipop.
iOS is missing a lot of elements that is making long time users look elsewhere.

Refreshing to use Android especially OneUi with so many features and possibilities unlocked which were absent on iOS. Made me realize, how far ahead Android has come over the years.

Android widgets are so polished even on 100$ devices. 1000$ iPhone 12 is as good as as trash when running widgets.
Giving latest features of Android 10 years late on iOS itself tells you what a lower tier ecosystem it is.

I've had iPads - Air, Air 2 & iPhone 8, 11 pro Max and switched between Android and iOS for years.
iOS updates were always very buggy especially upon launch. Definitely not the "stable" system.
And the updates are pure comedy in terms of features and functionality. Outdated at best.
Will never go back to iOS again.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max battery is also draining very fast. It's been only 3 months I purchased and the battery health percentage is 99% now. If I'm using any application just for 1-2 minute the battery drops 2-3%. Can anyone help me in this?

Updated my phone to iOS 14.7. Damn I love this "see the news about update and also get it this very moment without any regional release nonsense and weeks/months long delays".
Btw, Apple Watch also received update to version WatchOS 7.5 with pretty muhc similar changes as iOS.

Which were always a buggy mess and still are. Not to mention they look ugly and inconsistent most of the time. But hey, you do you with your "firsts". Being first is meaningless if you do it badly.

Getting an update for my iPhone 8 Plus is not surprising for an almost 4 years old iPhone. Apple upgrades iOS for 5 years or more. What is surprising is that Apple gave a security update for my iPhone 5s. My 5s is not one of the fastest phones but it is not slow either. With security updates the phone is still usable to do banking or paying on line without worrying about. Think about it… it’s like Samsung is sending security updates for the Galaxy s5!!

In Android is completely different story.
I have a Galaxy S21 and is up to date with May security patch.
I also have a secondary Poco F3 which is not up to date. I am on April security patch and MiUi 12.0.5. Even though the Chinese version of the phone (Redmi K40) received MiUi 12.5 since 1 month ago. Not to mention, other Xiaomi models who received it already. So, thanks Poco, lol.
And I am having some small problem with the display of the Poco F3. So, this update is important to me. I am waiting for this update to see if they will correct the problem.
Bottom line, the feeling is not good. Seeing that other people around you with similar phone (but from other countries), or even cheaper models than yours, are getting the update, is not very pleasant.

Stability on latest ios is a question mark...
My iphone 12 has battery draining issue and sometime even system app crashes crazy....very annoying.
Paying thousands of dollars is not worth.....

Apple is doing good but prices should be honest.
