[deleted post]One of the reasons I am no longer using an iPhone after a decade of being on iOS.
I got tired of the bugs on iOS which needed constant fixing every time a new version was launched. Why would you want unnecessary updates when everything is working fine?

Also on older devices, certain things wouldn't work unless you update to latest version.
Damn of you do... Damn if you don't!!

Anonymous, 25 May 2021More updates don't mean better. Continue paying extra ... moretrue more updates do not always mean better, but it never hurts to have a secure up to date device, especially in this day and age when cyber crime and virus infection is far more common.
I never had any issues with either android or ios updates, apart from android updates coming out in phases and the UK mostly getting stuff later.
I like apples day one release, treating everyone as equal.

android phones , it sometimes feels like the uk market is less important for companies, even before brexit happened, like with samsung, it was always a waiting game, the pixel was the only one with semi quick releases, and even they werent always day one style

                            updating right away

Apple Card Family is a nice idea, being able to manage induvial spending off of one card is a very good idea especially if u have kids. I want to see Android adopt this, unless they already have it...
