We are now seeing RISC chips up scaling and CISC chips down scaling.
Where both architecture wants a piece of the mobile market pie.
RISC is creeping up to the laptop space, while CISC is trying to creep down to the tab and mobile phone space.

Iphone has never been limited to 10 min like almost all android phones.

I find it funny that people claim how bad mali gpus are..
And they are literally dominating smart TVs that run 8k resolution and help with super taxing miniled /local filming zone algorithms......
They make judgement only on smartphones but even there
When ever mali gpus mop the floor vs adreno everyone gets silent
Examples: dimensity 800u destroying the 750g and the dimensity 820 destroying every single qualcomm 7 series in 2020

Woohoo, 25 May 2021Can chip manufacturers for once give us the efficiency impr... moreyour largest gain in battery life comes with a much more efficient screen. if you really want better battery life the easiest solution is to have a 1Ah larger battery. i personally would like to see 6Ah as the standard for the large flagships in 2022.

Theoretically, laptop with a series (4-8) of X2 cores should be way more powerful than many other laptops around, with its sustained performance, much lower battery drain, and quicker instruction setup. Would love to see Qualcomm and Exynos aim for an 8-Core (4 × X2 + 2 × A710 + 2 × A510 cores, and with clock speeds between 1.8Ghz and 3.1Ghz). And for Gods sake, a really powerful GPU and embedded, much faster memory.

They are only optimized to run one set of hardware that is made for only IOS devices. You cant compare with anything these things when everything other like Qualcom and Mediatek is doing the cpu's to run on anything for all types of configurations.
It's basically comparing a car with a plane, it just makes no sense to compare. Take away all the hardware support and optimize the chips to run only one hardware and only one operation system and you get the same results.

That said, it's not my daily driver and it doesn't seem to last very long despite only being barely used for work. Probably use error on my end since like most at work, i would have preferd the equivalent mid range android option.
I have employees using land lines cause the iphone doesn't play well with our systems but, that's not Apple's fault.
