China's huge population on its own doesn't provide a global reputation. if they want to sell flagships outside of China,they have to be cheaper than samsung and apple flagships even with relatively better hardware. who knows if xiaomi stops global operations in 1-2 years or doesn't ship enough spare parts after several years. you can easily find replacement parts of a 5-6 year old apple or samsung in almost every city in europe,russia,americas or australia.

Dometalican, 26 May 2021Do you work for Xiaomi or Samsung's business departmen... moreI like competition as a consumer. but,I know business dynamics as well. samsung has been producing the most desired phones for 20 years and apple for 15 years. so,they both established solid brand reputations, huge sales and aftersales footprints throughout these years. xiaomi is a newbie in global market. nobody can guarantee they will give up global operations or will quit smartphone business in 2 years. there maybe even be shortages in spare parts. so,reputation needs time. that's why consumers take risk if the underdog brand is sold with a lower price.

In their price range there are no equivalents available for purchase by any other brand anywhere in the world period. Apple sheeple will still buy 1000$ monitor holder tough.... SMH....

I bought a xiaomi product, the first and last from this company. It was an android tv box, advertised as netflix compatible. It ended up the worst piece of chinese crap i had so far. Overheating, random reboots, and never got netflix to work. Xiaomi not even for free.

Most of their flagships (the Mi series) are priced lower than the competiton with the same specs (Mi 11 which is around the price of the S21, goes against the S21+ in terms of the specs) or equally when they offer much better hardware (Mi 11 Ultra which is pretty much better than the S21 Ultra in almost every way). Plus, Xiaomi's top selling phones are their midrange and budget ones, not their flagships, so they won't lose the competition

Haw much did they pay second time? because after Samsung years ago xiaomi got over Apple sales in USA and they got upset!
I don't understand why all manufacturers want to win the USA market?! Let them heave iPhone and pixel, China and India has the biggest potential for making a profit!
