Samsung Display might keep making LCD panels until the end of next year

Last year it wanted to quit this market, but things have changed.

Neo Qled is the best to me. Those mini LEDs made more dimming zones and thinner panels. No burn in or degradation of organic compounds like OLED displays. It's bright and don't suffer from black crush.

      kek, 28 May 2021OLED has got nothing against a good LCD, tho.Lol, from which year are you? OLED litteraly has everything better than LCD. Better power eficiency, better contrast, better HDR, better color acuracy, better everything and better viewing angles, no light bleeds no shitty contrast and color inaccuracies due to poor backlit technologies.

            Oled uses 2x more power than LCD for whites.
            Oled uses same amount of power compared to LCD for all other colours.

              CES 2018 : LED panel from Sony with 10.000 nits.
              You do not have oled with all this brightness.

                If LG can use an white OLED sheet as backlit then put Color filter infront of it and call it an OLED.
                Then why not put a microled backlit ?

The traditional led and mini led are different from Microled which is fucking super confusing the way they name them. I will call traditional and mini led as backlight, while Microleds are super tiny rgb inside each individual pixels which illuminates.

There is no advantage to doing that. It can be done but it will not be done. Putting an LCD layer will just increase the thickness of the display, which negates one of the advantages of microLED.

                                      All premium devices should have only amoled display not LCD..
