Anonymous, 12 Oct 2012the problem is, Samsung i9100 Galaxy SII is no longer avail... moreFrom where I came from S2 i9100g is replacing the original i9100 & still in the market, selling at 500usd which is about the same as S3 Mini.
It doesn't matter what is the model code, what we trying to said is S3 mini is over priced & is not logic to get this low spec phone with the same price as a higher spec S2.
Enough said S3 mini is a epic fail.

btw, Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini is just a name.
if you look at its model number, you will know that it belongs to mid-class and has nothing to do with the original Galaxy SIII.

- Samsung i8160 Galaxy Ace 2
- Samsung i8190 Galaxy SIII Mini

The reason the Galaxy Mini exists is because the older 2010 and 2011 Galaxy phones that are still on sale invalidate the Apple patents.
That's why they created this. Remove the older Galaxy phones from sale, and sell this which shouldn't invalidate Apple's patents that Samsung were found guilty of copying.

Samsung will launch another model in between S3 & S3 mini called Samsung Galaxy Premier using Nexus specs with 4.65” screen 8MP came 1.5ghz duo core processor, I wonder how would Samsung price it, since the differences between S3 & S3 mini merely $150 ?

If you want to enjoy the full extent of Sam just go for Note2. If cant afford or dont need, you got like a million midrange alternatives, Sgs3 mini doesnt make any news.

S3 mini is funny, 12 Oct 2012Yes,i would rather buy samsung galaxy s2.You can tell be the model number that this is not similar above the SGS 2.
The SGS 3 MINI model number is I8190.
SAMSUNG have correlated the model numbers to the features and if it were better than the SGS 2 it would have model number higher tahn 9100

Orange are doing the Galaxy S3 at £26.00 per month with £49.00 as a down payment. This seems a much better deal.

Waste of time buying this phone just work harder and get a real s3
