Why are people arguing when it’s only on a custom built test device, which isn’t currently available for general public.

You people argue over the tiniest of things.

And for people saying fast charged batteries don’t degrade…..where are you getting this information from ?
All batteries chemically age over time, there isn’t yet a battery that can hold full charge , year after year.

with such speed will come with insane heat wonder how many cycle does the battery last before it starts to lose charge. I rather have new battery tech that can keep charge 100% even after 5 years of use and smaller battery but can pack huge amount of charge like up to 50000mah on a 6.7inch phone

Xiaomi's kinda late to the party, BBK was already ahead with its VOOC charging, but hey its still great news and beneficial for all.

People are still living in 2013. Samsung and apple can't provide fast charging so that's why their fanboy are making excuses of battery degradation. Modern day batteries are fully capable of charging at their respective watts.

Mediatek sux, 31 May 2021Source?Everyone knows regular batteries that top out at handling 20W charging give 300-400 charging cycles before they start to degrade.
Xiaomi already demonstrated how their batteries capable of handling 55W or 65W charging give 600-800 charge cycles before they start to degrade. Same is the case for Oppo.
Independent tests have confirmed this.
