Hopefully we reach 1kw charging by 2030

And hopefully we start charging EVs using USB-C Cables :D

Interesting. But it would be better to further research in advancing battery technology instead as the standard lithium battery would never withstand this wattage. If it was a Graphene battery, then maybe it will be able to withstand this amount of power

man,, probably faster than fast-food services

I don't care about battery wear, what I care about is how to replace the old one ... and with Xiaomi phone it is a huge problem. I am unable to buy original genuine battery from Xiaomi, only cheap fake Chinese batteries are available

AnonD-940827, 31 May 2021How about just make phones that lasts 3 days on heavy usage... moreComment section: why don't they make phones batteries that last 3 days instead, fast charging is dangerous and will destroy the battery

Reality when manufacturers actually create it:

-This is overpriced, I can get a last generation phone for cheaper and get better specs I can live with charging the phone everyday

                    - it doesn't have an sd card slot, no buy
-it doesn't have an oled screen, no buy
                    - it doesn't take good pictures, deal breaker
                    -its too thick and heavy
-the screen size it too big, stop making giant phone we want 5 inch screen
                    -miui sucks
                    -no gcam or custom roms
-it has a mediatek processor, I bought a mediatek before never again!!!
-how much year's of software updates Is it gonna have?
-ill stick with my iPhone, iPhones are the best phones on the planet, the weak battery life actually helps us as Tim cook wants to save the environment.
-it has a plastic body, it's not premium
-no 3.5 mm headphone jack, pass
-hahaha it bends like paper on Jerry rig everything, deal breaker

That's the only way you can speak saying that they don't want 120watts

I know many people that desire the mi 10 ultra it has already sold to thousands of people and that thing charged in the same range

How about just make phones that lasts 3 days on heavy usage, and takes the night to charge! Just like in the old days. A phone that lasts, is much more worth than a phone that needs a charger everywhere!

rizki1, 31 May 2021i would prefer durability of a battery.. than changing ever... moreIt is then better that you buy an adapter that can charge at 25W or max. at 30W. Then it goes slower but is much better for your battery.

Would have preferred that Xiaomi had announced a new technology or that they managed to achieve a battery life of 130h. from 4500mAh.

Nobody wants 120W, let alone 200W, right? Get a good fire insurance policy.

If the battery lose 20-30% of it's lasting per charge in 3 years then whats the difference ? Never mind that they are researching the battery technology a lot in these days how to charge faster and everything cause of the electric cars and everything. And well it's an option to charge in 100-200W chargers and not something you must do. You can also charge them in lower speeds like 50W or 20W if it suits your needs. And we are living in consuming era where devices are not meant to last much longer then 2-3 years
