Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 mass production has begun

Samsung will allegedly make fewer units compared to last year's Z Fold2.

      A smart move would be this year's specs with connections to the latest mobile 5G technologies. A microSD card slot, a S-Pen slot and trade-in of 50% or higher for previous Note and Galaxy Fold buyers. This new Fold 3 could replace the Note line, if it is done correctly.

            S pen is a smart move that I missed in the Z fold 2, but are you planning to allow for 2 physical sim or not?

            Also, more sleeves and pouches are needed for both the Z fold 2 & 3

              Can't wait. I cancelled my order on the Fold 2 and stuck to my original plan to wait for the 3. Of course the Mate is better from a design standpoint and the camera might not be the greatest but I'll manage.

Don't really need S-pen functionality, personally. Just seems like a marginal increase.

                  1. disappointing secondary screen screen2body, edge left for bezel.
                  2. no headphone jack again?
                  3. unfolded screen has to be bigger than 8-9" at least for reading books/working with sheets.
                  4. S-Pen is not storable inside phone?
                  5. no quad speakers? =D

Samsung phones always drop in price(at least in North America). Over a month ago the Z Fold 2 had deals announced for$1000

                        I'm waiting for the expected Note Ultra coming out next year. If it doesn't manifest I'll import a Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra to replace my Exynos Note 10 Plus. I'll use a Galaxy Note with an in-dwelling S Pen as long as it's convenient and possible. My only concern with my Note 10 Plus is its battery health which is presently at 94%. By August 2022 I'm hoping it will still be above 90%.

                                I want to see how the stylus for foldable works. Because stylus can leave a scratch on the folding screen

                                        In terms of 'need', I can very much live with a cheap entry-level phone since my necessities with a handset mostly consists of texting, calling, stuff like alarms and maps, and a bit of browsing. They can do all that with little sweat nowadays. But I 'want' stuff like a great camera, excellent screen, flagship chipset, etc., so I bought a higher model. Human wants is a complicated matter.
