hahaha I've read all of these posts, cause my girlfriend is gonna get herself that Nokia 920... I can only say, the smartphone industry really has its loyal FANS... Me, i have a Android SG-Note smartphone, a iMac and iPhone4, a Vaio VGN-AR71L on Windows 7 laptop, and many other cell phones... But, ya'll really makes me LOL... Oh yeah, I'm waiting on the SG-Note III, cause the Note-II ratio 16:9 is sh!t... Samsung bring back that 16:10 ratio... (Oßo) and i'm buying again!

Believe me this phone is as smooth as you can get. My friend has already been using it for sometime and he said to get this blindly.. Awesome UI and good battery and best camera what else you expect.

AnonD-60656, 15 Oct 2012I have alot of faith in windows phone... I love the same ch... moreI know how you feel. Android has compatibility issues because of fragmented graphics chips and SoCs. Games won't run on certain phones, crash and freeze out of no where. Windows Phone sticks with Snapdragon and iPhones with PowerVR SGX GPUS. That's how they should be. WP8 will have better software update process than Android and less comparability issues for games.

A phone that barely classifies as SMARTphone simply cos it's too much show and not much features. On the other hand you have Android that is far more open than what your average customer could use, also (opinion) the UI isnt anywhere near as intuitive and as you said optimzied as Apples.
Now, where WP comes in is that it's in the middle. Not quite as bling as iPhone necessarily, but more capable than iPhone. Not quite as capable as Android, but far more user friendly than Android.
And on general note: bashing "plastic phones" in general is naive. Polycarbonate is a form of plastic too, so is the frame of a Glock pistol. Plastic can be done in many ways, Nokias plastic is tenfold better and more durable than that of Samsung. Similarly not all metal phones are good either. The anodized aluminium on the iphone 5 is a joke compared to the anodized aluminium of the N8. My N8 is 2 years old and the aluminium has zero dents or scratches, while Iphone 5 cant even get out of the box without dents.

simple, optimized and is more open than ios. Strict hardware don't make mess in market and apps market like android. And you can diferent yourself. Lumia, htc wp etc. Not the same iphone.

OMGush, 14 Oct 2012WP OS is more optimized than your LAGdroids so yeah it real... moreiphone 5 uses custom cpu, more cores doesn't mean always more power!and galaxy s has only one A8 core, and doesn't lag at all with jelly bean... i really like this phone, and WP, i just want to make some things clear!

If you want simple user interface with optimised apps and games you get apple. If you want openness and customisation with apps you get android. Why would someone want windows?
