Would have to agree, the recent release of jelly bean is a vast improvement for android users, I was able to test a cooked rom "Cyangen mod 10" on an old Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and was very impressed with the advanced performance and lack of lag. Taking this into account and that Samsung said this device would not be able to run it, hat's off the the boys and girls at Cyangen. IOS 6 as also improved from issues with IOS 5 but it also has its own new issues but none-the-less still and improvement, can't really comment on the WP 8, but I have used wp7/7.5 and was really impressed and how these worked. At the end of the day its down to personal preference to what works best for you, for me its a mixture of android and windows shame theirs no dual booting version yet wink wink ;)

I have alot of faith in windows phone... I love the same chipset startegy as this will prevent compatibility issues facing android. and it will make it easy for microsoft to deliver timely updates for windows phone. App developers will not have to deal with multiple hardware.
Its not an entirely closed system like Apple and its not totally open like android. Its got the best of both worlds.

I have to say mick is right. HTC is not really in same place as Nokia. Nokia is not android and should not be compared . Go try one the new ones . Give it a fair go. you may find a new love lol
