SMR, 15 Oct 2012Samsung germany lists S3 at 699 euros. The same costs 35k I... moreyour math is so scary...
firstly, Europeans generally have more money than the rest of the world, they can afford it plus most products retail at the same price number even though conversion not equivalent example 600 euro in Europe but 600 american in america even though 600 euro=/=600 american

secondly, either the s3 is cheaper or its not. 699 euro=/=37k Indian rupees more like 48k

products are priced by market which is why iphone 5 retails at 1200 american = some people will pay that price

if s3 is considerably cheaper in Indian market than it is in Germany why would Nokia be more expensive even though it cost less?

Nokia lumia is on to something here. If it was waste of time HTC and Samsung wouldn't bring out new windows 8 models . As for music there's. Free music on that you can get via Nokia music. Are put your own on for goodness sake.

For those who never hv a lumia b4, try 1st. I thing WP is d most stable os in d market now...screen is super smooth, & plenty of apps in market place.

If all d retailer r honest, u sud get the same answer, Android.. errr...so sorry get a No: 1 from last position(jam & lag). cannot even compare with Lumia 800 & 900. Am talking about daily usage with 3G data switch on. I only want to compare with my Apple ios.. Andriod r for kids who like to download games & format their phones anytime. i cant afford that...sorry

Pricing is good. Considering what you get already. And we still have to see what windows 8 has to offer. Which can only be more.

Nokia is at a point of no return...another pricing mistake..and i wont be surpised if they file a bankruptcy..they just cant launch a phone at this price in India atleast..my best bet would be around (inr30-32k)Eur: 450-475 for Lumia 920 and (inr 24-26)Eur 350 to 375 for Lumia 820...only then they stand a chance in the current market...

on lighter note...just launch the same phone with Android 4.1...it will sell like hot cakes... :)

Samsung germany lists S3 at 699 euros. The same costs 35k INR. If we go by this conversion, Lumia 920 might be a good hit in india.

However, 1 euro = 68 indian rupees. So 649 euros are more than 44k INR. This last conversion dooms Nokia.

                                Which way to go guys??
