I literally say that we should have a BIT OF EVERYTHING as opposed to only punch holes and notches as it is currently the case.

Yes, myself hating the punch hole and often defending the pop up, but also the bezel, sliders, no front camera and even sometime the iPhone notch, and the flip up too in more than one occasion, but just saying that it shouldn't be THE only solution = defending the hole.
Either stop trolling or go get your brain checked.

Security cameras can still profile you in some way. Not everyone goes around doing the same thing. So you dont care that much i guess.
Thats what everyone would do if they could - avoid being spied on. How can you be sure the push button works?Maybe you could make sure for the camera, but not the mic. Whats the point of this if some apps find some exploits to modify permissions? All your data would be in their hands then. Would the camera still be your worry then? What do you plan to do with the isp tracking your every move? What if gsmarena manages to hack into your device?

Had the Zenfone 6/7/8 what I wanted, I would have bought it, which isn't the case for any phones with a hole.

My point isn't that we should avoid all electronic devices, my point is EXACTLY that they SHOULDN'T be spying on us to begin with, and hiding the front camera is a BIG part of that, along with the main camera and having a ON/OFF/Push to talk mic switch, which in many occasions where someone is in a noisy place can be actually quite handy.

Accepting that the flip up is not THE perfect solution and therefor it shouldn't be THE only available stuff, but rather share its existence with other solutions, is too much for you, apparently.
To the point where it is that or nothing, what about pop up and no front camera?
