JT, 08 Jun 2021Early bugs :)Unpopular opinion. iOS 14 is buggy AF and this after iOS 13 got off to a bad start as well. I'm not updating until they hit at least 15.5. Not good enough from Apple.

I'm happy I'm not being forced to update to the new software until it's ironed out. I'd rather have a bug-free update than one being forced down my throat only to suffer from various issues.

Only real big change is how notifications are handled/displayed. Only reason would be if phone is so old it's not eligible for iOS 15 anymore.

This sounds as if Apple is implementing Google's A/B OS update partition system. At least this is a good idea since some people still prefer to use the previous OS version over the newer latest one.

Aren't they already doing this? Phones that aren't eligible for latest version anymore still get security updates for several years. For example, iPhone 4 got a security update just few years ago and it's a pretty archaic device today. It's just applied to the latest major version it had available. So, it didn't get iOS 13, but the security update was applied to I don't know, iOS 9 or whatever was last version for iPhone 4.

That's great news. I'm not in a hurry to get iOS 15. I'll most likely monitor reports concerning it for the first few months it's out. I've been very happy with iOS 14 on my iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Good job, Apple. Google should do the same. I think 2021 has been the Year of Apple personally for me. I have an iPhone SE, 12 mini, AirPods, and Apple Watch. And I snack on apples daily. I don't hate Apple like before. But the main reason I returned is because Apple products do last a long time. They have retail stores to fix them for you.

                  Thats why apple is amazing...

                    next major version😂😂😂😂

Yeah that make sense since iOS 15 is only like updating some app instead of updating the whole OS.. It's great that they still support 6s but then again it's not surprising since nothing of value has changed.

so in a way, they have 2 OS's
