      This would be a perfect gaming device for me. Oh My! I reallly can't wait for this. I've been eyeing for Mi Pad 5 but as the rumors says, there would be no mini version. 10 inch plus on a tablet is a bit overkill for gaming. 8 to 9 inch is so perfect. This would be my 2nd iOS device from iPhone 8 Plus. 😂😍

        I really like the iPad mini. But there is one problem with this design, its not the colors, its not the shape, its not the display or any of that, its that camera bump. why would u put a camera bump on a tablet? Just give it a small sensor and give it some great AI and all that jazz and call it a day.

          Last upgrade of iPads Air / iPad minis, they use the latest cpu also A12.. But you may be correct.. because chip shortage.. use leftover last gen chips..

              Anonymous, 13 Jun 2021I say push back iPad releases to Nov, after iPhone 13. ... moreProduct differentiation alone would mean having lower-end hardware using slightly worse specs. like the iPad base model is using an A12(still great). the A14 will do just fine at whatever price point the mini takes as the previous models also shipped with chips 1 generation older(or near that). the iPad Air 2021 will likely ship with an A15, and the base model 10.2" Ipad could see a spec bump to an A13

                    I say push back iPad releases to Nov, after iPhone 13.

                    Then have all of them use A15 chipsets..

                    But given Apple.. must likely they will use A14 on iPad / mini.. and skip iPad Air upgrades.

                              Apple needs to make Air and Mini with same cpu of upcoming iphones.
                              Next budget iphone with A13, 3GB, 8MP front cam and 64GB base.

                                        definitely getting this! considered waiting for newer Android tablets but then nothing beats Apple's support on their iPads
