They are basically nip and tuck. Sometimes Realme offers better value for money, sometimes Redmi. In China for example,, Realme was behind last year but is now probably ahead of Redmi in terms of VFM. This could switch again in another month or two though with the next releases

          These are the negative reviews I can see for the global launch is

          The cameras are okay . Just wait another 2 weeks and I'm sure a team on XDa would've created a GMod
          The colours of the phone are not for everyone (I personally like them)
          The battery life is okay ( I think 4500 is pretty good HOWEVER it doesn't have 90hz option). Supports 120 but you either choose 60 or 120 so expect battery to brain to drain quicker if u chose 120hz
          Realme UI bloatware ( I'm sure it will take no longer than 5 minutes out of your life to uninstall all the games it comes installed)
          Heats up quickly
          Streaming issues ( maybe Becuase the person reviewed a review unit) and HDR10 isn't fully supported until full release (I don't know )


            I wonder if the AnTuTu benchmark cheating allegation like what happened with the China version* of this Realme phone will happen with the Europe version as well. I better hope not.

                      And the RedMagic software problem existed 3-4 yrs back wake up!!

                        Go on YouTube and check review of Chinese version of this phone. There's multiple things that make this phone price so low and you will see it quickly.

                          There are reviews on YouTube already people, go and check. Camera is really awful, would be so much better if they added cheaper optics and OIS. That potentially would produce better results... Heating issues obviously but that's just normal for SD888. I think there was something with screen too, L3 I think so watching Netflix in SD quality but that was based on Chinese version to it can be fixed in Europe

My only regret is that I don't know were to buy there phones in my country Nigeria. Please any suggestion will help. Am using a mi 10t pro but xiaomi is not exactly what it claims to be.

                                    Sadly, the known issues of the model, makes it a not so good suggestion for buying.
                                    In my country they dropped the price after just 1 month with 50EUR.
                                    I have it at selling since 1 month and nobody comes near it. Or they just want it for nothing.

                                    Of course, the issues are not mandatory bad for anybody. If you use your phone averagely and do not game on it, maybe it could be a good buy. But then again why do you need a SD870 or SD888 in the first place?
                                    My issues that I had with this phone were and some of them still are (even after MiUi 12.5 update): dimming issues (resolved), heating issues (not resolved), average battery life (not resolved), green tint display (not resolved; only bad in low light conditions).

                                    My recommendation, wait for some trusted reviews (and not necessarily on YouTube) for the Realme GT and maybe try this model instead. I would definitely buy it in 1-2 months time, if everything will look right with it.

                                      Normal users don't care. It's the Youtubers who are sponsored to quote about OS support by the respective manufacturers. Most people do fine not updating their Chinese phone for years
