Very very little change from my current s20+ to S21 and now S22...
Why the need to generate NEW phone every year, when very little has change, except maybe .1, .2 or .3 inches bigger screen, a bit more memory, or a bit faster processor.
Samsung, pls stop this. Even jumping from my s8 to S20+, there wasn't a whole lot of difference (yes bigger screen, a bit more memory and a bit faster cpu), but the s8 was still running like a freaking charm and it has a REAL fingerprint reader. Can't really justifying myself from plunking down $1000+ because my phone is one year older.

I currently have a Note 10 Plus 5G and cannot see any real reason to upgrade to any of the S22 range having read this and a number of other articles.

I wouldn't be surprise if Samsung introduces the zoom periscope camera in the ultra model, with dual (or triple) zoom ranges. That could help reduce the number of zoom modules in the setup.

FE shou... moreEvery reason to exist in Europe, where they're the most powerful Samsungs available (because they alone use the Snapdragon 8xx).
Then again the 888 is so much of a sidestep this year's Exynos chips aren't any worse. I'd still take an S20 FE 5G over almost any 2021 phone though (and will likely get one this winter).

If the S22 Ultra has the 50mp 1.4um sensor, the 3x and 10x are 12mp 1.4um sensors and they bring back MicroSD I will trade my S21u, I'm enjoying my Note 20 Ultra better

Looks like ZF8 certainly had an impact (even if a 'small' one), so S10, S22, P40, ZF8 are all in the golden zone imo (in terms of manageable size for confident if slightly uncomfortable 1-handed use).
But maybe they could go even smaller like the Pixel 5/4a or even S10e (or my Z2 Plus which I find perfect😍)
