AMD's RDNA 2-powered Exynos GPU 30% faster than current Mali GPU

          This Exy will be full blooded flagship chips and NSwitch 2/Pro might be mid range chip with flagship features, but its an interesting AMD vs NVIDIA fight.

            The report is familiar but a bit different, it actually done its homework and compared it to the possible future chips it going to fight.

            To note the other media goes, exynos with RDNA still outperform current mali despite throttling. Well its not gonna fight that current mali when its released, yes?

            Also to note, RDNA2 run hot. See PS5 exotic cooling or Xbox campfire cooling. I'm hoping they found a way to reduce the heat but i guess its still not there yet.

              Well rdna2 has many features that Mali won`t have even on the next version… it is good and bad. Extra features are nice, but those also eat electrisity and size is bigger. So we are compromising in one matter or another…

                    I was expecting more, also the thermal issues are concerning!

                      "30% faster performance than the current Mali-G78, found in the Galaxy S21 Ultra with the Exynos 2100 (...) However, the report shares that the AMD developed graphics processor has a throttling issue and struggles to maintain its clock speed for long. The second test run saw a 20% decrease in performance and the third by 30%."

                      Sounds like a major disappointment tbh. A lot of people expected the new AMD graphics to completely change the game but this sounds like an incremental upgrade.

                              See Speed test G on YouTube, a reliable benchmarking tool, Mali G78 MP 24 is badly defeated by Apple and most importantly Adreno 660.

                                        It's Not Only About Improvement, It is Also About Consistency. The AMD Powered Chip Will Be Consistent too. Just See even it is not a final product it is losing about 10% on each benchmark. While Mali GPU Loose about half of their performance in the 2nd run.
