          It"s funny to see Radeon fighting Adreno, since Adreno was AMD's IP that got sold to Qcomm and is anagram for Radeon.

If we had less chipset choices smartphone prices would skyrocket and then Qualcomm would lock down their chipset features even harder than Apple. Phones with a snapdragon 400 performance would be $1k+ and have zero ports, small batteries, and 1 year software support because no competition would force them to offer better features.

                        Go any dedicated forum for gaming no one is going to recommend Mali Gpu for games, so Adreno are like monopoly in this market.

                        Amd can change this, we know they have Experience in this field.

For someone who spend 100k usd in game won't care if he pay 1k usd to buy good phone.

                              Good news for everyone who can't afford a proper gaming rig, I guess. Never understood mobile 'gaming' unless it's some lightweight nonsense to kill some time while waiting for a plane. Maybe because I mostly play RPG-s and you really can't enjoy those breathtaking sights and envioriment on a small screen.

In 2018? Next year also the GPUs would on the same level. But apple devices can't run any game above 60 frames lol.
