You are just salty because you paid more for your Sony or Apple and got inferior charging capabilities.

And yeah I used the iPhone 11 before switching to Mi 10T Pro. Had the option of buying the Galaxy S20 FE, Xperia 5 II or the iPhone 12... as all of these phones were in my budget of maximum 800 Euros. Opted for the MI 10T Pro at 600€ and spend the rest on TWS.

[deleted post]Overpriced? Get a better job simple as that. Seems to me you are crying Sony is not giving this away to you for $499 but look on the bright side, there are so many Oppos, Vivos, Realmes, Redmes, Narzos that you can afford for $499. You got plenty of options.

[deleted post]Can confirm about Huawei. My older Honor 8 Pro (2017) & Mate 20 (2018) with 4000mah battery + SuperCharge alive till today, with no sign of degradation, at all.

Meanwhile my older Xperia Z1, with very slow charging, have to change the battery 2 times within 3 year....🤦

But do not forget, today's Xperia battery has that Batterycare feature.

Once you get to use Sony or Apple phones then you can comment on the topic of battery degradation. But I'm pretty sure you don't even have the Xiaomi model that you mentioned in the previous post.

Also, everyone citing the Mi 11 ultra, it's barely useable here in the US. It's Sony, Apple, Scamsung, Motorola, OnePlus and cheap phones like TCL and Blu here. That's it. With LG out of the picture, we don't have much else.

[deleted post]That's true.... Sony & Apple last only 300-400 cycles before they start degradation, when paired with 18W-20W charging.

Xiaomi designed batteries last upto 600-800 cycles before starting degradation, when paired with 33W-55W charging.

If you want to buy a new phone and have two choices: the S21 Ultra for $800 and Xperia 1 III for $1,300. Which phone will you buy? I like the Xperia 1 III, but it's released way too late. Sony needs to improve this. By the time the price of Xperia 1 III starts to drop, the S22 Ultra is about to be released.

Wireless earphones bring true freedom and I enjoy it. Only retrogrades and degenerates are buying wired headphones in 2021.
