02 July 2021
Intel has also secured a large order of 3nm chips from TSMC for laptop and server CPUs, however, the iPads should make it to market first.

Better cooling and better performance. Now it is time to open the jail and give users more freedom. Add new features and unlock iOS.

They are easily reaching above 60 deg C in heavy games, or long video recording sessions or other heavy tasks. Don't judge based on some battery drain tests on YouTube.

dude111, 02 Jul 2021We have seen cases in the past where a manufacturer (Huawei... moreDid any of those phones have components damage due to running those benchmarks?
In none of those tests, the phone overheated to achieve that high of a score.

There are cases on some Xiaomi phones, where the benchmark app would shut down if the OS thinks it will overheat the device beyond normal.(on some 1hr long stress tests).
This is why I said, that there are mechanisms in place to avoid any damage.
Besides, You clearly have no clue about operating temperatures of various components inside a phone. Learn that first then come for debate as most of your concerns have already been taken care of by manufacturers.

Unless it's some kind of N4+, Apple won't use it as is no better than current N5pro
(It's just a slightly denser N5 without any additional power benefits)

[deleted post]That’s Irrelevant to his original point, the moderators on here are unfortunately (or perhaps deliberately) very….inconsistent let’s say, when it comes to enforcing their own rules where Apple articles are concerned.

The result is in every single Apple related article you get the same talking heads popping up and prattling on with their Apple are terrible at everything and Android can do no wrong vitriol. Try to then counter that open hatred and your rebuttal will either get deleted or you get called a fanboy, Apple sheep etc.

The irony of being called a fanboy by people with a brand in their name tag does make me chuckle though every time though, so I suppose it’s not all bad……..

They use techniques such as FinFet, first introduced by intel to have higher density of transistors, similar to that of 7nm, 5nm, etc. In fact this is the reason that intel’s 12nm can be comparable to tsmc’s 7nm.
