Now im doubtful if I should buy Dimensity 1200 powered phone (X7 Max) or hold out for it's successor and pray that it launches within 6 months.
I think I'd have to buy one now, since my phone is already old now and the battery is good as non-existent

I'm interested in what they do after 3nm. Is it 2nm? or Something like 2.4nm?

FlexLex, 05 Jul 2021shouldn't be the name, snapdragon 899? Who cares about the name? As long as it doesn't have heating problems, it could be named Snapdragon PooPoo Edition for all I care.

shouldn't be the name, snapdragon 899?

Sorry. 3nm is to wait for.
                  No big gain with 4nm

Hopefully the 4nm node may also incorporate some of the next generation of ARM's V9 Architecture. Though, that apparently needs some serious tweaking if the Cortex-A710 & Cortex-A510 are any sign of things. A more specific instruction set and microbtasking should improve things.
