eddy-, 05 Jul 2021From 4nm there won't be much yearly improvementsWell you can only go so small. I don't think anything below 3nm will be possible as you need a certain amount of space really. To be honest, anything over 2.5 ghz is more than quick enough really. I just think that they are running out of ideas for differentiation. The whole mobile phone sector is coming to a pivotal point really. The form factor limits the scope of innovation and I can't see this as the type of industry that will not hit a ceiling.

week old news. what no one knows for sure is, will the 895 line be full V9 or not. some have speculated on a transition type architecture, where it might be using only some V9 specs. I hope its full native V9, if not, ill wait for 3, because 3nm is certain to be V9 for sure.

Performance on a14 exactly goes half with thermal throttling. Thanx to Trillion dollar company cheapening out on cooling
