The OnePlus Nord 2 will have a custom Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, the company confirms

OnePlus and MediaTek added additional AI features to the base Dimensity 1200 to help with the camera, media playback and other tasks.

      So it has the same primary lens on oppo find x3, sounds very interesting, at this point nothing takes better photos than pixel 4a below 40k mark in india, maybe this will change that.

        Well, you lost one potential customer already due to lack of 3.5mm jack, I might have to go with X7 Max instead, was really hoping 1+ would step up, but alas we all know what its become now.

            Smartphones have already peaked. Apple and Google have already perfected the platforms they are trying to represent to people. You can get a phone from 2017 and not upgrade for 5+ years.

                Sounds nice but without the headphone jack or MicroSD card slot, I'm probably not getting it.

                  The imx766 also supports DOL-HDR. It is not just the imx789 that supports it as stated in the article

                          Intetesting. For tge first time, the Nord series will get an Flagship level performance. Oneplus is backk. Value for performance, speed, and good software. Not like the original nord (which is excellent, but doesn't have oneplus's old philosophy)

                            Will mediatek release the source code though? Oneplus without the custom rom support after the release cycle will be worthless. Dimensity 1200 is a good chipset, but we need to know if they will place nice with the developers.
