Why not just ditch the selfie camera and make something like 2-3 inch screen for the rear so you can do all your selfies and video calls with the rear camera. Well the screen it has on the rear already is large enough for just making selfies as you need to see only that you fit in the frame. I use to have some old Nokia phone that had like 4mm x 4mm mirror dot under a camera to make selfies with it so that little screen is enough for selfies while it's too small for video calls.
Having a bit larger screen on the rear will solve this issue with notches, holes and under display cameras

I hope and the resolution is not true, charging more than a thousand dollars for a 1080+ panel is edtupid and the one who buys it like that, give me my Quad panel even if I do not use it

Curved screen notches hell no.
Curved screen is good for breaking and no screen protector works as great as on the flat screen.
Same comes for notches which started with Apple X which popularize them.
Nowdays those companies trying to outrun each other in making more and more horrible looking evice with much more flaws and erros than good things worth to use and mention.
