I almost thought this was a Qualcomm-designed phone like Intel making NUC M15 Laptop Kit. It would've been actually cool to see something like that. Turns out it's a rebranded Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro....and more expensive.

This phone is literally the ROG Phone 5 with the Zenfone 7 Pro cameras and a much smaller battery. other additions are the Ultrasonic FP rather than Optical with some Qualcomm features. other than that, that's pretty much it

What is the purpose of this phone?
What do they mean by "for insiders"? I can understand being an insider for software like Windows or other beta testing. But how is it possible to test hardware?

This is basically an ASUS ROG Phone 5 but without all those gaming aesthetics and Qualcomm branding all over the place. But $1,500? For real, Qualcomm?

For 1500$, I would better get a Z Flip that wont get in my way when it's in my pocket.
For 1500$, this is a pretty looking generic phone. It kind of reminds of those OnePlus devices.

looks likw a buttoned down ROG 5. will it have an IP rating and the DIRAC speakers of the ROG 5? will it snap like a twig? if no on the latter and yes to the formers, me likey!

Screw this overpriced junk. If you want something similar, then get a ROG phone which features similar hardware & a better battery for half the price.
