A phone with no front camera and a simple flat fulldisplay.
Two cameras on the back, real zooms (continuously variable focal length), one from Ultra-Wide to Wide, and the other from Wide to 5x Telephoto or more that also have, through focus control a hardware Macro and Portrait mode, the two camera being over 12Mp.
Even better if they both use the same sensor :

And the camera design can be like the Meizu 17 Pro, which is superb!
10mm thick with a 6000mAh battery, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in the display.
Just add a hardware physical kill switch for the microphone, and it is almost my dream phone.
Though I still prefer my fictional concept smartphone :

Get rid of front camera all together there are too many people that doesn't like taking selfies or video calls 😂😀

[deleted post]Cry in two years when we'll find out that, like as the punch hole which was hyped before its release, underdisplay camera will be hated as the notch is because of all the stupidities of this tech, being that the camera quality will never be good enough.
Some rare phones will have a much better solution, and everyone will want it, but no one will get it as the UDC will flood the market and leave no other options.
You'll feel really stupid at this moment.

Why Huawei needs to patent? The patent system is broken in China anyway. Everyone is allowed to copy or steal.

*Not having the pop up opening the phone, but rather being on the outside and sliding off of the back.
*Having the pop up covering the main cameras rather than hosting them.
*Making the pop up being electromagnetically actuated.
*Putting an underdisplay/indisplay fingerprint scanner (ultrasonic are the best).
*Replacing the removed 3.5mm Jack and USB port by magnetic connectors.
*Doubling the 3D face recognition structure light points from 15k to 30k (like the iPhones and Pixel 4/4XL).
*Giving a good old Wide + Ultra-Wide + Telephoto with all sensors being above 12Mp.
*Or putting two zoom (variable focal length) sensors, one for the Wide to Ultra-Wide, the other for Wide to Telephoto, the latter can easily have Portrait and Macro features too.
Etc, it would be a perfect phones with all those improvements!

The Oppo Find X with his 3D face recognition did it better.
Pop up camera didn't need years of R&D to be a thing, they were reliable despite what fearmongers say about them, they offered a normal picture quality, and looked neat.
Why making a step backward with this underdisplay camera contraption?
