Luxury would also be about materials, exclusivity, not just technology (which should at least work the way it's meant to work). Luxury is meant to dissociate people, if everyone can get it that's just common stuff. Luxury for a phone would start maybe around 10k mark, like those Caviar brand stuffs?
Anyway, the quality of my mark I is there (as it is for any other phone at this price), but it's by no mean a luxury item, far from it.

2.... moreLow performance, compared to devices on the same chipset or even to older Galaxy S21. Not balanced by good battery life. Poor camera performance, so typical for Sony. 4K display that in fact does not work 4K, and its sampling frequency is... well, problematic.
It has a microSD? Who needs it with 128 or 256 GB storages? Jack? Truly irrelevant for me, that does not make a premium or luxury device.
Yes, on paper it looks great. In reality it IS A CRAP! Because none of the paper specs really work the way they should...

Here is this to all the Sony fan boys.
1. Display is the worst in its price range compared to its competitors. 4k is not a real advantage and u can't even do 120hz in 4k. Even 1440p is a bit too high but it doesn't waste battery as mich
2. Battery is also same as oppo find x3 pro which has worst battery so both get the title of worst battery.
3.sd card and hp jack are available in midranger and budget so u can buy that if u wanted those. Or even some flagship killer they have ho jack and sd card like zenfone 8. It's compact too
4. Cameras are not on par with the competition and an person who doesn't know how to use manual will have to stick with the much worse auto mode. Variable zoom gets beaten by actual cameras like 2 zoom cameras beat that.
5. Price is legit same as the competition offers while it is far worse in almost every aspect.

Cuz: 4k oled barely gets up to 600 nits and 4k is complete gimmick and it wastes battery like sht.
Eye AF is not like its actually that use full for a photographer. Plus 4k 120 fps is unnecessary and even 60 fps doesn't make a difference while 120 fps is just gimmick. While other flagship at same price provide better cameras better display better battery

3. 120fps game (30s timeshift) recording
4. 120fps 4K HDR camera video recording
5. Best on the market 20fps real-time tracking + Eye AF (all pro photo website since 2018 will tell you that Sony has best in class AF, even better than Canon).
All that technology in one devie only on 1III and thats a fact. If you dont like OK, if you like another OK, but dont tell me it is crap. Crap is phone that has all super-duper new tech and doesnt has IPX and NFC. Gues hoooooo.
