If you listen to music android is the way to go. Easy music transfer. Equalizer. Many sound enhancers and settings.

If 12 mini was a replacement for SE, then I wouldn't definitely buy. But not at that current asking price.

They should put good battery on mini. I hated big phones. I would go for it if it has better battery, doesn't mind thickness

Also android updates can be buggy too (old Motorola trauma comes back, but also the Samsung one)
Anyhow the moment my android phone doesn't get at least security updates I am done with it, I want a secure phone especially because in my country my bank requires an app (not just for payment but for overall usage all of them do that here) and so does my insurance and government sites for stuff like taxes and so on.
It would be stupid to use a phone without updates (doesn't matter if Android or iPhone or maybe even ancient windows phone) with apps like that.
So no I would NEVER recommend anybody to use a phone that doesn't get at least quarterly security updates.
P.S and before someone reads my comment again, I use android for private use and iPhone because of my work (work phone I never paid for, not my problem my job requires it)

I don't blame Apple for failing, the "irony" I meant is that EVEN Apple failed on that regard.
And that is not Apple their fault, and if other companies would try the same small phone concept then probably it wouldn't be their fault either.
The market is the problem, Apple is big and even they failed and that is because the market complains they want smaller phones, but in the end people get all the cheapo big China phones.
Meanwhile people like me complain about wanting a small phone, but would actually buy one when available, sadly I am the minority.
So again my comment was not to bash Apple.

Literally every vendor that tried making mini phones was a failure to some extent. Just because people are loud in polls it doesn't mean that represents the large majority. Sony had limited sales of their Mini models, Samsung had limited sales of their Mini models and behold, Apple also has limited sales of Mini model. Everyone is obsessed with larger and larger displays. It's just how it is.

Android companies have to sell you new device so they screw their users over and over again and like the sales shows people are waking up.
