I also want a software solution where the user can set the device's charging limit to a certain percentage. I always top off at 80% to keep the battery degradation at its lowest by means of capacity-to-charging cycle used ratio.

I guess this will have to be done on the core OS itself, so maybe it's Google who I should ask for that.

    1500 is 4 years. That's fantastic! However, this does not mean that this technology is already partly there. Many manufacturers supply a 65W charger with which you can charge within 30 minutes.

      Anonymous, 22 Jul 2021They all are based on the same technology. Just different names Yeah. I just thought Realme and Oppo has the same tech whereas One Plus might be using a different one. But it makes sense since they are under the same umbrella of companies.

                        With the Oppo-One Plus "merge" One Plus will surely get this tech as well. I guess that was the reason why they need to integrate the software somehow.

                            They should have adaptive charging so the phone decides how fast to charge the battery. Different factors can assist here as well. Such as how heavy the phone is used or how often the phone is used. But the phone should be able to decide where what percentage up to 120W to charge

                              Give me a phone that I can use while charging without degrading the battery. Two cells, the phone can switch to the one that has more charge while the circuit recharges the other one.
