You expect most mobile makers not to put spyware in firmware, and hack handles in firmware and hardware? They even replace company mental on motherboards with spy components, you think they don't hide something in chipsets or firmware. Best to have a trusted manufacturer, who abstracts their manufacturer and development, so they have no ability to put spyware in it comply with government wishes, as it's by somebody else in another neutral country. When they have fingers in everything, they can demand more unrealistic things. Keep dreaming.

I still use a Blackberry Motion android phone today, one of the last phones they made from their prior handset manufacturer. Build quality and battery longevity are excellent.

I am sure It will be designed and developed entirely by Foxconn and they will slap a BlackBerry logo on it.But I hope they will prove me wrong

I love BlackBerry design, it's qwerty keyboard and BBM (exclusively only for BlackBerry users} that require add a PIN as personal identity to allow chat with the others BBM's users for better privacy and security reasons, not a phone number like WA. But the most I hates for BlackBerry is it's software that always to reboot everytime install and unistall aplications and it's reboot wasting time for 5 minutes or more and sometimes crashing it's software too.

If i had the chance to work on designing the new BB it will definitely do a change. I can't believe they are still failing even though they can watch what all the competition is doing, either they have rusted or they became blind. Come on people, bring BB back to where it was and ahead!!!
